"I am passionate about empowering and educating women to take the best care of themselves. My care philosophy centers on involving women in healthcare decisions, ensuring they feel informed, supported and confident," said Dr. Layne.
"I was drawn to healthcare by a desire to care for others and to provide the kind of compassionate, high-quality care I would want for myself, a principle that continues to guide my approach with every patient. My special interests include general women’s care, optimizing women's health and minimally invasive surgery. I care for women beginning with their first gynecologic visits and continue supporting them through menopause and beyond.
"I chose to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology because I value caring for women throughout all stages of life. I appreciate building lasting relationships with my patients and the variety the field offers. My goal is to be a trusted partner in each woman's journey to lifelong health and well-being."
When not in the clinic, Dr. Layne loves running, traveling, being outdoors and spending time with her family.
Dr. Layne is employed as a clinical faculty physician at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
