Theresa Chadwick, PA-C, if a certified physician assistant who practices at UT Health East Texas Physicians Carthage - Extended Hours Clinic. Theresa knew she wanted to be a healthcare provider at an early age. “It’s wonderful to be in a profession where you can help people.”
Chadwick has been a physician assistant with UTHET for more than 15 years, gaining expertise in emergency care, family medicine, pediatrics and adolescent medicine, women’s healthcare and internal medicine. Throughout her career, prevention and wellness has been a major focus. “You can make a huge difference in people’s lives by teaching them about disease prevention and having a healthy lifestyle.”
What Chadwick finds most rewarding is the ability to help people who don’t have a primary care physician or who need medical attention outside of regular doctor office hours. “I like filling the gap and ensuring patients receive the care they need when they need it.”
