Tracy Whinery, APRN, FNP-C, CWOCN, is a certified family nurse practitioner specializing in wound care and a certified wound, ostomy and continence nurse at UT Health East Texas Wound Healing Center in Quitman and Pittsburg. She welcomes patients of all ages.
Tracy believes in integrating the whole person into their care and working collaboratively toward healing. She is passionate about making a difference in her community by promoting healthy living and fostering meaningful connections with her patients.
Specializing in wound care and preventive medicine, Tracy takes a holistic, team-based approach to ensure positive outcomes. She finds deep fulfillment in guiding patients through their healing journey, supporting their progress from a vulnerable state to renewed health. For her, wound care is about more than just treating an open wound—it’s about addressing the whole person and supporting their overall well-being.
Outside of the office, Tracy enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and working on their ranch.
