UT Health East Texas Pulmonary Institute at North Campus Tyler - A department of UT Health North Campus Tyler

Taylor T. Teague, MD, FACP, is a boardcertified pulmonary, critical care & sleep medicine physician at UT Health East Texas Pulmonary Institute at North Campus Tyler. She sees adult patients for pulmonary and critical care and patients 12 years and older for sleep medicine.
Her father is a physician and his example inspired her career path. “My father practices in a small, rural town. Growing up, I got to see what an impact he made with his patients and his community. I hope to use my medical skills and not only make a difference in my patients’ lives, but also in my community.”
Dr. Teague says she was drawn to sleep medicine because of the growing need in the field. “Sleep medicine is a very much underserved specialty, meaning the number of patients suffering from a sleep disorder greatly outnumbers providers who are trained to diagnose and treat those disorders. I hope to make it easier for patients to obtain evaluation and treatment.”
When not treating patients, Dr. Teague enjoys spending time with her husband, three boys and their yellow lab.
Dr. Teague is employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
