UT Health East Texas Physicians Pittsburg - Primary Care
Monday - Friday
8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sam Waddell, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant who practices at UT Health East Texas Physicians in Pittsburg. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Waddell worked as a firefighter and paramedic.
Once he earned his physician assistant degree, he assumed he would continue working in the emergency medicine field; however, that changed when he worked as a temporary physician assistant with a UT Health East Texas Physicians clinic. "Everyone was absolutely wonderful, from the patients to the people I worked with and those in the UT Health East Texas system."
Waddell understands the importance of listening to his patients' health concerns. "I'm interested in hearing about patients' health issues, whether they are big or small. I want to know what concerns patients, and I want to address those concerns."
