Madhuri Kasireddy, MD, is a board-certified internal and integrative medicine physician at UT Health East Texas Physicians on Fifth Street in Tyler. She takes a mindbody-spirit approach to patient care, promoting healthy lifestyles for disease prevention along with evidence-based treatments for acute illnesses and chronic disease management.
Dr. Kasireddy has a unique perspective on healthcare. “I have been in the shoes of a patient suffering with intense bodily discomfort, and how at that time nothing else in the world matters except to escape the suffering even if it is temporary,” she said. “I have lived the relief a person feels when his bodily discomfort is resolved.” Dr. Kasireddy says she has personally experienced the meaning of the phrase “health is the real wealth.”
In her spare time, Dr. Kasireddy loves to go hiking, dance, do yoga and meditate. In addition to English, Dr. Kasireddy is fluent in Hindi, Urdu and Telugu.
Dr. Kasireddy is employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
