"Being a healthcare provider is both a unique responsibility and a privilege that allows me to serve the community. I take pride in continuously expanding my knowledge to offer comprehensive, evidence-based care to my patients," Justin said.
"My healthcare journey began in high school as a certified nursing assistant in a nursing home and skilled nursing facility. This experience sparked my passion for helping others, particularly in rural communities where healthcare providers are often limited. After graduating from Texas Tech University's Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program, I spent nearly three years in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. It was there, working closely with the trauma department, that I discovered a strong interest in the operating room, focusing on orthopedics and neurosurgery.
"My diverse medical experience spans intensive care, emergent procedures, and now assisting in the operating room. Throughout my training as a first assist, I found orthopedic surgery to be both challenging and highly fulfilling. Helping patients regain their independence and functionality is exceptionally gratifying and drives my dedication to this field."
When not seeing patients, Justin enjoys traveling, golfing and riding his motorcycle.
