John Larrinaga, MD, is a breast radiologist at the UT Health East Texas HOPE Breast Center at North Campus Tyler. Dr. Larrinaga specializes in interpreting mammograms, ultrasounds and MRIs to diagnose and treat medical conditions of the breast.
“My goal is to make a personal connection with all of my patients and to ensure that their medical concerns are fully heard,” he said. “I don’t consider myself simply a radiologist who specializes in breast disease, but one who actively works with patients to address the medical issues of those entrusted to my care.”
Dr. Larrinaga wants to be both an educator and a caregiver for his patients. His goal is answer their questions and concerns and equip them with a strong understanding of their condition.
When not caring for patients, he enjoys personal fitness, including hiking and tennis, playing piano and drums, landscape photography and traveling.
Dr. Larrinaga is employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
