Clayton Hodges, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic sports medicine surgeon at UT Health East Texas Orthopedic Institute. His goal is to provide integrated, compassionate care to ensure that his patients get back to their desired level of activity in a timely manner. “I believe in educating my patients to ensure they are able to make well-informed decisions about their own recovery.
“I got into healthcare after a career in biotech to have a more substantial and personal impact on people and their well-being. Orthopedic sports medicine is the field that I was most passionate about during my medical training, and I have not regretted that choice for a second. As Theodore Roosevelt once said, ‘Far and away the best prize that life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.’ For me, that work is orthopedic sports medicine,” Dr. Hodges said.
Dr. Hodges is employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
