Brenda Karagozian, MD, is a board-certifed, family medicine physician at UT Health East Texas Physicians at Lake Palestine in Flint, who focuses on preventive medicine, obesity management and women’s health.
“Pursuing a career in healthcare was a natural decision of mine early on since it combined my interests in science, problem solving and serving others. I’ve always gravitated towards family medicine because it allowed me to build long-lasting relationships with my patients and provides, me with a strong foundation of medical knowledge to care for them,” she said.
Dr. Karagozian is fluent in English and Spanish. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three dogs, gardening, kayaking, reading and collecting mystery novels.
Dr. Karagozian is employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
