"I want to provide the highest quality of care while building lifelong relationships with my patients. My approach involves using the least amount of medications necessary for treatment, emphasizing a shared decision-making process so my patients feel heard and their opinions respected," said Dr. Hertel.
"I entered healthcare to help people achieve the best quality of life and support them through some of the toughest moments. I treat both acute and chronic conditions, and I perform joint injections, well-woman exams, birth control consultations, skin lesion removal and biopsies, fracture and dislocation management, toenail removal and laceration repair. "What I love most about family medicine is the variety of people I meet and the longstanding relationships I form with my patients and their families."
When not seeing patients, Dr. Hertel enjoys watching sports, golfing, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
