Lance Mandell, MD, is a board-certified hematologist at UT Health East Texas HOPE Cancer Center at North Campus Tyler. He believes in providing state-of-the-art care in accordance with the patient’s goals and desires in a caring, compassionate environment. Dr. Mandell got into healthcare because he loves helping people and enjoys the challenge that medicine provides. “I treat patients 18 and older. My interests are all areas of hematology, including multiple myeloma, lymphomas, leukemias, Hodgkin’s disease, myelodysplasia (MDS), anemias, platelet disorders, etc. I chose hematology for its challenge, variety and the opportunity to provide long-term care to patients.” In his spare time, Dr. Mandell enjoys running, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Mandell is employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
