Jordan Richardson, APRN, FNP

Jordan Richardson is a certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in gastroenterology at UT Health East Texas Physicians in Tyler. “I chose to become a nurse practitioner because my disposition and my demeanor are well suited to caring for others, and I wanted to be more involved with the preventive side of medicine.”

Richardson’s practice revolves around creating partnerships with her patients. “My goal is to listen, educate, collaborate and treat people from diverse backgrounds by using a holistic approach that is rooted in evidence-based practice.”

Gastroenterology has always been interesting to her. “I chose to focus on gastroenterology because the GI system is all-encompassing and good gut health can lead to better overall health.”
