Christie Osuagwu, PhD, APRN, FNP, provides clinical care at the Texas College clinic, as well as the occupational medicine clinic at UT Health North Campus Tyler. She developed the UT Health North Campus Tyler Wellthy Beginnings program, a 12-week nutrition education program focused on obesity prevention and conducts Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical Exams. She is also actively involved in community health education through churches and other local organization. She has authored/co-authored many articles on diabetes, obesity and health disparities.
